Thirty-five years of legal education in Maastricht

Anniversary Book on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Maastricht University Faculty of Law

From 2015 to 2017 I was involved in the Anniversary project on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Maastricht University Faculty of Law, first as an assistant under the auspices of initiator Professor emeritus Louis Berkvens, but ultimately as the main executive. This resulted in a richly illustrated Anniversary Book, entitled Onconventionele juristen. Vijfendertig jaar Rechtsgeleerdheid in Maastricht. The book combined a concise historiography, based on extensive archival research, with interviews with key players, to explain the development of the Maastricht Faculty of Law, the ideals and convictions that started the whole endeavour and the result thirty-five years later.
